We are pleased to name this annual event in Justice Ginsburg’s honor.
Our Second Annual Evening on Law and Politics will focus on the Trump Supreme Court and the impact the Court’s move to the right will have on Americans’ rights. With Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation looming, we believe that there is no more timely or important topic than learning about how the new Court will impact our rights, and how we can best fight to protect civil rights in Trump’s America. We will be joined by distinguished panelists and constitutional law experts:
-Professor Rebecca Brown of USC Gould School of Law
-Professor Lawrence Rosenthal of Chapman Fowler School of Law
-Professor Manoj Mate, Visiting Professor of Law at UC Irvine School of Law
The event will feature catered hors d’oeuvres and a partially-hosted bar featuring beer and wine selections (those above 21 will be given one drink ticket each). It will be held Monday, October 15, 2018, from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM, at the Chance Theater in Anaheim.
